With Instant Handbrake sometimes it includes this and sometimes it doesn't. These are English movies that have parts in them where someone is speaking in a foreign/alien language and so I want the subtitles to come up for that part. On my old MBP I had a program called Instant Handbrake, it was a slimed down version of Handbrake that worked like a charm, and it still does for most of my DVD's except for a few where there are subtitles at certain points in the movie.
